Now that the Seattle Police Department blocks off the streets below N. 40th St. to car traffic before and during the July 4th fireworks show, wide Wallingford Avenue has become the viewing spot of choice for the big display.

Nearby residents set up rows of chairs, parties spill out of houses along the street, and everyone has a great view.
