Reader Jason sent over this photo earlier today of a disappointed little girl in her swimsuit. Her parents may not have known that the Wallingford Playfield wading pool is open only Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays this summer.
We’ve posted the wading pool schedule in our events calendar. Meanwhile, the Green Lake wading pool is open every day the temperature is forecast to exceed 70 degrees.
The pool will no doubt see heavy use during its open days this week, when temperatures are supposed to be in the high 80s and low 90s.
