NE 45th Viaduct reopens Friday

Posted by Doug Alder on September 7th, 2010

We’ve gotten the official word that the NE 45th Street Viaduct will reopen on Friday, September 10 at 11am.

SDOT is inviting the community to come and out celebrate that day starting with a ribbon cutting at 8:45am.  You can hear from the project team and city staff who worked on the project, as well as meet the contractor who completed the project on schedule for the first home football game at Husky Stadium.

The event will be held at the top of the hill (near 22nd Avenue NE & NE 45th Street) and lasts until 10 a.m.

Yeah, well, it's Tuesday, and the dump trucks are still rolling up and down Ravenna Ave past my house. These SDOT bozos have managed to ruin everybody's summer around here, and starting in January they'll be doing the same to everyone who uses 15th NE ...for nine months!
