If you plan to drive from SoDo to Wallingford anytime in the next six weeks, you’d better add some extra time to your trip. The handy First Avenue S. ramp to northbound 99 will be closed tomorrow April 1 for its demolition. A new ramp will be constructed from S. Royal Brougham Way.
The Seattle Department of Transportation offers these options to the on-ramp during the closure:
During this weekend’s demolition, the southbound SR 99 off-ramp to S. Royal Brougham Way also will be closed from 7 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Monday for driver safety.
