You couldn’t ask for a better day for Wallingford’s annual Kiddies Parade, which delighted crowds with marching bands, drill teams and of course, lots of kids. Wallingford’s own Dick Spady, of Dick’s Drive-in, was the Grand Marshal this year. Here are a few photos we snapped along the route on 45th:

Parents and kids with Family Works.

And the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club.

John Stanford International School is always a crowd favorite.

Another photo of John Stanford School.

Marchers! A good showing by Wallingford’s kids.

The Baby Dolls Drill Team.

The All City Band.

And lots of shops, arts, crafts and activities for the whole family at the street fair along Wallingford Ave. Wallingford Center merchants even handed out free ice cream for the kids. Hope you had a great time this year, and if you have any photos you’d like to share, email them to tips[at]mywallingford.com.
