The first 50 guests to arrive will receive gift cards. The Boys & Girls Club Keystone Program will also have a concessions stand benefiting their program.
  • Family Fun Day at the Green Lake Branch of the Seattle Library from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. We will be making stick puppets , putting on the show the Gingerbread Boy with those puppets and finishing with some simple folk dancing. It will be a jam-packed hour of fun for the whole family.
  • Celebrate the Season with the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce on Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jolly ole’ Santa will be on hand to great the kids and hand out candy canes at the Wallingford Center Plaza! The Green Carolers will lead us in some spirited carols as we stroll the neighborhood singing. We will end back at the plaza at 4:30 for the second annual lighting of Wallingford sign. Afterward join us inside Wallingford Center to warm up with hot cider and cookies.

We will meet on the NW Plaza of Wallingford Center.

  • SATAY Malaysian Street Food (1711 N. 45th St) is celebrating their one-year-anniversary on Saturday.

“This year has been an amazing journey building our business in the heart of Wallingford. We’ve felt the love and support of the Wallingford community as we continue to grow in the hood! As thanks to everyone who has made SATAY apart of their lives, we’re pleased to offer a free Roti Canai or Curry Puffto anyone who stops in on December 10th, 2011. We’re asking people to donate the value of their free Roti or Curry Puff to benefit Asian Counseling and Referral Services’ (A.C.R.S.) Club Bamboo which provides meals and activities for seniors.”
