Local business leaders to participate in "Women on a Mission" conference

Next week, the Seattle Good Business Network is co-hosting the Women on a Mission conference, which features women leaders and businesses that help build local economy. Several local women business leaders are participating, such as Dani Cone from Fuel Coffee and Hi-Five Pies. Representatives from 4 Your Eyes Only Optical and The Wallingford Chamber will also be attending. The event is Tuesday, March 20 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. According to the Seattle Good Business Network, it will be a day to, “reconnect to our purpose, talk shop, inspire and be inspired – all in a beautiful space with amazing food and topped off with spectacular local wine.” The event is at Urban Enoteca in SODO.

Topics will include:

  • creative collaborations and new business models that are building our local economy,
  • closing the loop on local sourcing and production,
  • creating resource efficient and eco-friendly products, services, and workplaces,
  • what it means to live your values at work and at home
