Food Network filming at Satay Friday

Wallingford’s restaurants and treat shops have been getting a lot of attention from national TV food shows the past couple of years. The Joule and Tilth chefs were on “Iron Chef” and “Top Chef”; Trophy Cupcakes was featured on the Martha Stewart Show and will be featured in an upcoming Cooking Channel show “Unique Sweets”; and now the neighborhood’s newish eatery Satay will be on the Food Network’s show “Meat & Potatoes.”

The Satay folks posted yesterday on their Facebook page that “the Food Network is filming at the restaurant tomorrow so come eat and you might get on TV.” The show is described thusly on the Food Network site: “Meat-loving chef Rahm Fama follows his carnivorous curiosity across the country, searching out the choicest cuts of mouth-watering meat.”

Please do share a report if you’re at Satay today. We’ll be sure to let you know when the segment airs.
